My works are pictorial journal entries that evoke specific moments in time. The figures slip in and out of dense, intimate environments that are both actual scenes and imagined spaces. This interplay offers a slower read of the paintings, encouraging deeper observation and an invitation to connect with one’s own personal memory. Defined elements of portraiture are removed so that a larger audience can potentially relate to everyday moments without consideration for identity.
