My artwork takes its shape from observing exchanges between a human and their environment. Usually, these would be moments inspired by my friends or family members. A question that I ask during my painting process is, “we were born out of nature, and therefore how can we string ourselves back to it?” The parallel between the growth of our bodies and the growth of nature is considered in my work, Twilight in the Park.
