My paintings explore the relation and observation of curated environments, display of biodiversity, and human perception. My collection-based works blur lines between reality and fiction of the animal world. Being in NYC, my insatiable curiosity of taxonomy is skewed by the urban human centered way we have altered the life around us. I continue to observe the artificial presentation and categorized subjects of Natural History based institutions that have captivated the sentient human attention.
