My paintings are direct expressions of my way of being in the world.  Vulnerable, awkward, brave, growing, curious, and imperfect. Any reference images are sourced primarily from film photos I’ve taken over the course of my life. Revisiting these memories and having them transmute themselves into something new through the process of painting affords me the time and space for reflection and opportunities to learn.
