The Sacrificial Birds draws from my early personal story, which revolves around the tale of a bird sacrificing itself to save a gravely injured person. Through this story, I explore the themes of exchange and reincarnation, reflecting an Asian philosophical perspective on life and death. The delicate balance between these states is conveyed through the use of color and composition, mirroring the Chinese concept of Yin-yang rooted in my cultural background.
